Refund and Cancellation

Clear, transparent guidelines for booking changes, site delays, and refunds.

At Tiklo, we strive to make the property inspection process as seamless as possible. Because our services require deploying certified engineers to your physical site, our cancellation and refund policies are designed to be fair to both our clients and our engineering team's time.

1. Appointment Cancellations

We understand that property handovers and builder schedules can be unpredictable. You may cancel your booked inspection (Silver, Gold, or Platinum package) under the following conditions:

  • More than 24 hours before the scheduled time: 100% full refund with no cancellation charges.
  • Between 12 to 24 hours before the scheduled time: A nominal cancellation fee of 15% of the booking amount will be deducted to cover planning and scheduling costs.
  • Less than 12 hours before the scheduled time: A cancellation fee of 30% of the booking amount applies.

2. Rescheduling Policy

If your builder delays the handover or the property is not ready for inspection, you can reschedule your appointment.

  • Rescheduling is completely free if requested at least 12 hours before the scheduled inspection time.
  • You can reschedule a single booking up to a maximum of 2 times. Further rescheduling may require a new booking.
  • For Platinum package users, the included Re-Inspection visit must be scheduled within 30 days of the primary inspection.

3. Site Inaccessibility & No-Shows

Our certified engineers travel to your property to conduct extensive checks (Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.). If the engineer arrives at the site but the inspection cannot proceed due to reasons beyond our control:

  • Examples: Property is locked, builder denies entry, electricity/water is unavailable for testing, or the client is a no-show.
  • Action: Our engineer will wait for a maximum of 30 minutes. If the inspection still cannot begin, the appointment will be marked as "Failed Attempt."
  • Charge: A visit charge of ₹500 (or 20% of the package cost, whichever is lower) will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded or credited for a future booking.

4. Refund Policy (Post-Inspection)

Because Tiklo provides a professional service involving on-site labor and technical expertise, we cannot offer refunds once the inspection has been completed and the final report (including the snag list and photo documentation) has been delivered.

However, your satisfaction is our priority. If you believe there is a severe discrepancy or missed checklist item in your report:

  • Please raise a ticket with our support team within 48 hours of receiving the report.
  • Our Quality Audit team will review the photographic evidence and the engineer's notes.
  • If a valid omission is found, we will arrange a complimentary follow-up visit to rectify the report.

5. Cancellations by Tiklo

In rare circumstances, Tiklo may need to cancel a scheduled inspection due to unforeseen emergencies, extreme weather conditions, or unavailability of specialized engineers.

If we cancel your appointment, you will be offered the choice of an immediate 100% full refund or a priority rescheduling slot at your convenience.

6. Refund Processing Time

All approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment (Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking) used during the booking. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing times.
