Terms of Service

The legal agreement governing your use of Tiklo's property inspection services.

Last Updated: Feb 28, 2026

Welcome to Tiklo. These Terms of Service outline the rules, obligations, and limitations for both Tiklo and our clients. Because we perform physical assessments of real estate, these terms clearly define what our engineers can and cannot do on-site, ensuring a transparent and smooth inspection process.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a property inspection service (Pre-Possession, Resale, Handover Audit, or Rental Report) through Tiklo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Scope of Services

Tiklo provides professional property inspection services based on the package selected (Silver, Gold, Platinum). Our services include visual structural checks, tile & flooring tests, plumbing inspections, electrical panel audits, and measurement verifications.

  • Reports will be generated based on the visible condition of the property at the exact time and date of the inspection.
  • We utilize standard professional tools (moisture meters, tap testing tools, measurement lasers) as specified in your chosen package.
  • The final Inspection Report will be delivered digitally within the promised timeframe after the site visit is completed.

3. Limitations of Inspection

It is critical to understand that our inspections are visual and non-destructive in nature.

  • No Destructive Testing: We do not dismantle equipment, break open walls, remove floor tiles, or excavate to inspect concealed electrical wiring or internal plumbing pipes.
  • Concealed Defects: We are not responsible for identifying hidden defects, intermittent leaks, or structural issues covered by furniture, heavy fixtures, or fresh paint/putty.
  • Future Conditions: The report is not a guarantee or warranty against future wear and tear, settlement cracks, or structural failures that occur after the inspection date.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a comprehensive and accurate inspection, the client must ensure the following prior to our engineer's arrival:

  • Access & Permissions: Obtain all necessary gate passes, permissions from the builder/society, and physical keys to access all rooms, balconies, and utility areas.
  • Active Utilities: Ensure that electricity and water supplies are turned on. (Without active utilities, we cannot test plumbing leaks, drain slopes, MCBs, or electrical sockets.)
  • Clearance: Ensure the property is reasonably clear of construction debris or heavy builder materials that block access to walls and flooring.

5. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

Full payment is required to confirm your inspection booking.

Cancellations, rescheduling, and site-inaccessibility issues (e.g., the builder locks the flat or utilities are off) are governed strictly by our Return & Cancellation Policy. Please review it to understand applicable cancellation fees or visit charges.

6. Limitation of Liability

Tiklo acts as an independent advisory service. Our reports are designed to assist you in identifying snags before possession or purchase, but they do not constitute legal or architectural certifications.

In no event shall Tiklo, its engineers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability for any errors, omissions, or negligence related to the inspection or the report shall not exceed the total fee paid by you for the specific inspection package.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or the inspection provided shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through our customer support. If unresolved, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in our registered business city.
